Step 1 starts your client journey with a 30-minute Needs Analysis telephone or video call.
We will determine what you’re looking to achieve, get a high-level overview of your current position, and discuss how we can help you.
If we both agree to proceed, we progress to Step 2, your Discovery Meeting. This is where we get to know you, and you us, at no cost to you.
We will expand on the information gathered during our initial call as well as the additional facts provided in advance of the meeting.
We will send you a short risk questionnaire and personal expenditure form to complete, the results of which will form key discussion points in our meeting. Here we will finalise your lifestyle and financial objectives, present how we help you achieve them and will confirm the scope of our service and costs.
If you agree to our proposal, we move to steps 3 and 4.
We believe it is important to identify your destination, where it is you wish to be, before planning the route! This sounds so obvious, but often many jump to the solution before identifying the ‘problem’.
First, we work with you to find out where you are currently heading and where it is you really want to be. Then, we analyse your current financial situation and use our expertise to assess what financial products and solutions will help you get there, or maybe get there quicker.
We will produce your bespoke, comprehensive financial plan and formalise our advice by the end of Step 4.
We know where you want to be, we have planned how you are going to get there, you now have a plan. Welcome to Thornton!
Step 5 is the only step that is all about us. We will implement your agreed plan.
Step 6 is our ongoing commitment to keep you on course. We will meet with you periodically (frequency as agreed) for your Forward Planning Meeting. Here we will discuss your progress, any changes to your lifestyle or financial plans and re-plan if necessary.
