Our aim is to provide trusted, ethical and transparent life planning to clients who value our expertise. We want to help you grow, manage and safeguard your wealth. Our business model is heavily based on the 'New Model Adviser Approach' as recommended by the Financial Services Authority 'Retail Distribution Review 2012' which is to be implemented here in the Isle of Man in 2013. The philosophy is to be remunerated by "unbundling" our services so you know exactly what you are paying for, as shown below.
Following receipt by us of your completed Personal Factfind form, the initial meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us. We will discuss your current financial circumstances, your financial goals and if and how we can assist you in achieving them.
Once we have been able to summarise what you need from us we will send you a Letter of Engagement which details our understanding of your objectives, what we will do for you and what the charge for our services will be.
If you wish to proceed we will create a Financial Plan for you which will cover the following elements:
We will be more than happy to meet with you again to discuss the report and answer any queries you may have. In fact we encourage this, to ensure that you have a full understanding of the plan.
Any products that we recommend will be with a third party provider. We are happy to liaise with contacts and other advisers as directed and agreed with you. We will prepare the paperwork on your behalf in line with our agreed recommendations. We will arrange medical and financial underwriting and will check all documentation issued.
We will undertake the implementation process from start to finish.
This is the most important part of the process for the majority of our clients. Reviewing your objectives regularly is vital to ensure that your plan is on the right track to achieving your goals.
